Amca Oval Studio, founded by designers Alexis Martial and Adrien Caillaudaud, proudly presents its inaugural interior design project.
Two years after launching their studio, which stands out for its eco-responsible approach and unique fusion of fashion and interior design, the designers have completed a full reinvention of apartments within the Edgar Suites group. These flats, ranging from 90 to 100 m2, are located on rue du Temple in Paris, in the heart of the Marais district.
The project features an innovative concept that infuses a creative and relaxed atmosphere into everyday life, reflecting Alexis and Adrien's passions. Each flat showcases a colorful and vibrant style, blending functional contemporary pieces with vintage furniture from the 70s and 2000s.
Notable elements include a Ciancimino coffee table in metal and travertine, white Colombo universal chairs, Gerd Lange's SM400 chairs in burgundy thermoformed plastic, an Attitude armchair by Fritz Hansen, and Dr Glob chairs and Tic&Tac clocks by Starck.
The apartments are also adorned with travel souvenirs and local pottery, adding a unique personal touch.
The space is further enhanced by an edition of Amca Oval aluminum objects from their modular ‘Aurora’ series. This signature collection includes lamps, wall lights, bookcases, vases, and candle holders.
Additionally, an exclusive edition of colorful rugs, produced in collaboration with Codimat Collection, adds another dimension to the ensemble.
This project embodies the duo's distinctive and authentic vision, offering a glimpse into their inspirations through everyday living.
"Our ideal of Parisian living features small, colorful, and functional kitchens, bright and vibrant bathrooms, corridors adorned with inspiring and exclusive images, and living rooms that bring together travel souvenirs with a mix of vintage and contemporary furniture."
